Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
3D Print Manager ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our desktop application, website, and related services (collectively, "the Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. We do not store your password — authentication is handled by our identity provider (Supabase Auth). If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google but do not access any other Google account data.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store, process, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details. Stripe may collect payment information in accordance with their privacy policy. We receive only a transaction identifier, billing email, subscription status, and payment confirmation from Stripe.
Device and Technical Data
When you use the desktop application or visit our website, we may automatically collect technical information including your operating system version, application version, general geographic region (derived from IP address), and error/crash reports. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you.
Usage Data
We collect basic, anonymized usage analytics to improve the product, such as which features are used and general usage patterns. We do not access, scan, read, or analyze the content of your 3D files, either locally or in cloud storage.
Cloud Storage Data
If you opt into cloud sync, your files (including 3D models, thumbnails, and database backups) are stored in Cloudflare R2 storage in a user-scoped container. Files are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Only you can access your files through your authenticated account. We do not access, review, or analyze your stored files except as required to provide the Service, comply with law, or enforce our Terms of Service.
File Sharing Data
When you use the file sharing feature, we store share metadata (recipient email addresses, distribution lists, share links, and access logs). Shared files are hosted in cloud storage and made accessible to your specified recipients.
Communications
If you contact us for support or other inquiries, we may retain the content of your communications along with your email address to respond to and resolve your request.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and user identity management (privacy policy)
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management (privacy policy)
- Cloudflare — cloud file storage and content delivery (privacy policy)
- Microsoft Azure — backend API hosting (privacy policy)
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The desktop application does not use cookies.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Cloud-stored files: Retained until you delete them or your account is terminated. Upon account deletion, files are permanently removed within 30 days.
- Payment records: Retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance (typically 7 years).
- Usage analytics: Retained in anonymized, aggregated form and not tied to your account after collection.
- Support communications: Retained for up to 2 years after resolution.
If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal data and cloud-stored files within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all communications
- Encryption at rest for cloud-stored files
- User-scoped storage isolation (no cross-account access)
- Secure authentication via Supabase with token-based sessions
- DPAPI-encrypted local credential caching on Windows
While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:

9. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, and we will take prompt action to mitigate the impact.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
