Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using 3D Print Manager, including the desktop application, website, cloud storage, and related services (collectively, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and 3D Print Manager ("we", "our", "us"). We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 17.

2. Description of Service

3D Print Manager is a desktop application for managing 3D printing files. The Service includes:

  • Free tier: Local file management, organization, and basic features at no cost.
  • Pro License: A one-time purchase unlocking advanced features (file sharing, web library multi-download, auto-arranged build plates, and more).
  • Cloud Storage: Optional paid subscriptions for cloud file sync, backup, and hosting of shared files.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing any paid feature that you are actively subscribed to.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require a user account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised, are being used fraudulently, or violate these Terms.

4. Pricing, Payments, and Billing

Pro License

The Pro License is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks all Pro features. It includes a complimentary 1-month trial of Cloud 500 GB storage. After the trial period, cloud storage requires a separate subscription.

Cloud Storage Subscriptions

Cloud storage is available in multiple tiers and is billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All Pro features are included with any active cloud subscription. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your current billing period.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. For active subscribers, price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following at least 30 days' prior notice via email. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect. One-time purchases (such as the Pro License) are not subject to retroactive price changes.

Refunds

Pro License purchases are refundable within 14 days of purchase if the software does not function as described. To request a refund, contact support@3dprintmanager.com with your order details. Cloud subscription refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Taxes

Prices displayed may not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes imposed by your jurisdiction. Stripe may collect these taxes on our behalf where required.

5. Your Content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all files, 3D models, and other content you upload, store, or manage through the Service ("Your Content"). We claim no intellectual property rights over Your Content.

License to Host

By uploading content to our cloud storage or using the file sharing feature, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you and your designated recipients. This license terminates when you delete Your Content or your account.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to upload, store, and share it. We do not pre-screen, monitor, or review Your Content, but we reserve the right to remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms or applicable law if we become aware of it (see Section 6).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, store, or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Store or share content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Store or share illegal content, including but not limited to content that violates export control laws
  • Attempt to circumvent license restrictions, access controls, or usage limits
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Application
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service
  • Use the Service to upload, store, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, exploitative, or abusive, including child sexual abuse material, content related to human trafficking or exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that facilitates violent criminal activity
  • Use the Service to distribute phishing content, malicious payloads, or materials intended to compromise systems, credentials, or data
  • Use the Service to create multiple accounts or otherwise attempt to evade suspensions, rate limits, storage limits, or other abuse-prevention controls

We do not actively monitor Your Content. However, if we receive a report or otherwise become aware of content or activity that may violate these Terms or applicable law, we may investigate and take action, including removing or disabling access to content, restricting uploads, requiring additional account verification, suspending or terminating accounts, and preserving relevant account information, logs, and metadata as necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the Service or others, or comply with applicable law. We may take such action without prior notice where we believe immediate action is necessary.

7. Cloud Storage and File Hosting

Service Level

Cloud storage is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain high availability and data durability (including encrypted storage on Cloudflare R2), we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We strongly recommend maintaining local backups of all important files.

Storage Limits

Your cloud storage is limited to the tier you have subscribed to. If you exceed your storage limit, you may be unable to upload additional files until you upgrade your plan or free up space. We will not delete your existing files for exceeding your limit, but we may restrict new uploads.

Data Handling

Your cloud-stored files are isolated to your account. We do not access, read, or analyze the content of your files except: (a) as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., serving files to your share recipients); (b) to comply with a valid legal obligation; or (c) to enforce these Terms when we have reason to believe a violation has occurred.

Abuse Prevention and Safety

To protect the Service and its users, we may apply reasonable technical measures to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, security threats, and violations of these Terms (for example, rate limits, upload restrictions, account verification steps, and automated abuse-prevention controls). These measures may be applied to free or paid accounts and may temporarily limit functionality while we review suspected misuse.

Subscription Cancellation

If your cloud subscription expires or is canceled, you will retain access to your cloud-stored files in read-only mode for a grace period of 30 days to allow you to download your files. After this grace period, your cloud-stored files may be permanently deleted. We will notify you via email before any deletion occurs.

8. File Sharing

The file sharing feature allows you to share files with specified recipients via links or email. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content you share and the recipients you select
  • Shared content must comply with all applicable laws and respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • You will not use the sharing feature to distribute unsolicited or bulk communications
  • We may send emails to your specified recipients on your behalf (share notifications); you represent that you have the right to provide their email addresses for this purpose
  • We reserve the right to revoke shares or disable sharing functionality for accounts that violate these Terms

9. Reporting Violations and Legal Compliance

If you believe content or activity on the Service violates these Terms or applicable law, you may report it to us at abuse@3dprintmanager.com (or another contact method we provide).

We may review reports and take action in our discretion, including content removal, access restrictions, account suspension, or termination.

We may preserve and disclose information related to accounts, content, and usage where we believe it is reasonably necessary to investigate suspected violations, enforce these Terms, protect the Service or others, or comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, user interface, branding, logos, and documentation, is the exclusive property of 3D Print Manager and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

The free tier of the Application is provided for personal and commercial use. The Pro License and cloud subscriptions are licensed, not sold, for your personal or business use subject to these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR 3D FILES WILL PRINT CORRECTLY, THAT SLICER METADATA WILL BE ACCURATE, OR THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH ALL 3D PRINTERS OR FILE FORMATS. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL 3D PRINT MANAGER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF 3D FILES OR PRINT JOBS, CORRUPTION OF FILES, OR COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 3D Print Manager from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

14. Termination

By You

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account by contacting support@3dprintmanager.com. Upon account deletion, your personal data and cloud-stored files will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Us

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or are using the Service in a manner that presents a security, legal, or operational risk to us, our users, or third parties. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before termination. In cases of severe, unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or repeated violations, we may act immediately and without prior notice.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 5 (Your Content — ownership), 11 (Disclaimer), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), 15 (Arbitration), and 16 (Governing Law).

15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@3dprintmanager.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Binding Arbitration

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and 3D Print Manager agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted in the English language in Cook County, Illinois, or remotely via video conference at the arbitrator's discretion. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AND 3D PRINT MANAGER AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

Exceptions

Either party may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any judicial proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Application at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

18. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 3D Print Manager regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, power outages, internet disruptions, or government actions.
  • Notices: We may send you notices via email to the address associated with your account. You may send us notices at the addresses specified in these Terms.
