  • .url Internet Shortcut files in imported folders now attach as Sources on the surrounding folder and its files
  • New Web Libraries setting to drop a .url shortcut alongside each web-imported model so the page link is reachable from File Explorer

  • New website telemetry tooling

What's New

URL Shortcuts as Sources

  • Drop a .url (or several) into a folder you're importing and the URLs become Sources on that folder's ModelSet and on every direct file under it — discoverable from both the folder detail panel and individual file panels.
  • Works for both initial import and the library watcher: drag a .url into an existing model folder later and it gets picked up automatically.
  • The .url file itself isn't tracked in the library — it travels with the move/copy and stays on disk as plain metadata.

Generate .url Shortcuts on Web Import

  • New Web Libraries setting: when you import a model from an embedded web library, a .url shortcut to the source page is written into the import destination so you can jump back to the page from File Explorer.
  • Off by default — opt in under Settings → Web Libraries.

Expanded File Type Support

  • 3D models: .obj, .mtl, .ply, .amf, .step, .stp, .gltf, .glb, .fbx, .dae, .blend, .skp, .scad
  • Slicer projects: .bgcode (BambuStudio binary G-code), .pwma, .pwms, .pwmx, .pws, .cbddlp, .goo, .ufp, .ini
  • Documents: .csv, .xls, .xlsx
  • All new types flow through the same import + library watcher paths as existing formats.
