What's New
Automation Rules (Pro)
Every creator packages their files differently. Automation Rules lets you define rule sets that reshape file and folder names into one consistent layout — only names are ever touched, never file contents, and you always see a full preview before anything changes.
- Pick a rule set right in the import dialog — a new Automation rules section appears below the file list, with a summary of how many files would be renamed
- Click Review changes… for a full before-and-after list, with per-file opt-out
- Three built-in presets to use or duplicate as a starting point: Standardize layout, Simple name cleanup, and Minimal tidy
- Build your own rule sets with the sentence-style editor: for each file or folder — when [conditions] — then [actions]. Open it via Settings → Import → Automation Rules → Manage rule sets…
- Run Automation Rule… — right-click any folder or file in your library to apply a rule set to items you imported long ago. Works on multi-selections, and cloud-synced files are renamed server-side without re-uploading anything
- Optionally apply your default rule set to files dropped into your library folder from File Explorer (off by default — Settings → Import → Automation Rules)
- Rule sets export and import as plain JSON files, so you can share them or back them up
Help Center
- A brand-new Help Center is live at 3dprintmanager.com/help — illustrated, searchable guides covering the whole app, from first import to cloud sync and troubleshooting
- ⓘ help buttons throughout the app now open the guide for the screen you're on
- Support → Help Center now opens the Help Center browser
Feedback & Contact
- New Submit Feedback dialog in the Support area — a quick thumbs up or down with a comment, no sign-in required. Also available on the website at /feedback
- The Contact / Submit Bug form now accepts screenshot and video attachments (up to 5 files, 15 MB total), including drag-and-drop
- The separate Bug Reports tab has been retired — Contact / Submit Bug covers it - really only got bugs from emails and I was just to lazy to go and update this public board.
Improvements
Categories
- Category colors now use a full-spectrum color picker
- Long category lists scroll properly in menus
- Editing a category can now be canceled without saving
- Changing a folder's category now asks before replacing category overrides you set on individual files
Bug Fixes
- Fixed category inheritance — importing no longer stamps the folder's category onto every individual file, and changing a folder's category now applies cleanly to everything inside it
- Fixed resin usage from Lychee-sliced CTB files showing grams instead of milliliters
- Fixed an invisible remove button in the Related section of the details panel
- Users over their cloud storage quota can once again download and delete their cloud files to get back under the limit
Website
- Help Center and Feedback pages launched (see above)
