What's New

3D rendering

• Thumbnails and every 3D preview now show a 3MF file's embedded colors — the 3MF spec's base materials and color groups, plus Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer filament assignments and painted regions. Single-color files keep your configured model color.

Build plates

• Rotate a piece on the plate: hold it with the left mouse button and scroll the wheel for 15° steps, or hold Shift while scrolling for 90° snaps. Rotation is saved and applied to generated STL/3MF output.
• New collapsible Controls tab on the left edge of each 3D view lists the mouse controls available there
• The plate preview shows a 3MF file's embedded colors, matching its thumbnail

Library

• New Open With submenu in the file context menu and in the detail panel's Open dropdown lists the slicers configured in Settings that are installed on this machine. Pick one to open the selected file(s) in it.

Surveys and email preferences

• New Support → Surveys tab for answering occasional short surveys about the app. A dot appears on the survey button in the title bar when a new survey is available. Responses are anonymous.
• The data disclosure dialog appears once more after this update: anonymous usage counts now include printers, automation rules, and collections, and signed-in users can choose whether to receive survey invitations and product news by email

Projects

• Project list view: the Plates, Pieces, and Photos columns are now sortable
• Build plate detail shows a link to the project it belongs to
• Photo tiles in the Pieces tab are larger when a piece has only a few photos

Build plates

• The build plates overview keeps your printer and status filters, sort order, and expanded rows after adding, duplicating, deleting, or archiving a plate
• The build plate detail's info panel scrolls on short windows instead of squeezing the Notes box

Bug Fixes

• Fixed archive imports where a creator pack's sub-folders were themselves zips: the pack imported as an empty folder and the original zip was deleted. Nested archives are now extracted up to three levels deep, and a corrupt or too-deep inner archive keeps the original zip in the library instead of dropping it.
• Fixed 3MF and OBJ files on build plates having a zero-size footprint — they could not be selected or dragged, auto-arrange stacked them on top of each other, and the fits-on-plate check ignored them
• Fixed the update popup shown at startup opening partly off-screen on 1080p or display-scaled screens, with its close button unreachable. The popup is now resizable as well.
• Fixed the cloud toggle on a copied folder or file sometimes acting as a cloud disable instead of moving the item to the cloud
• Fixed duplicate cleanup (Add Drive pre-flight, duplicate scan, import collision) leaving cloud copies and thumbnails of deleted files behind, still counting against your storage quota
• Fixed the Author and Pattern Code rows in the detail panel occasionally showing while their setting was turned off
• Fixed picking or dropping non-file items (cloud placeholders, virtual folders) in file pickers causing a background error
• Fixed the default automation rule set chosen under Settings → Automation Rules resetting to none on every launch
• Fixed an error logged at every startup when the list of dismissed announcements had been stored empty

• Manage your email preferences (Surveys & feedback, Product news) from your account page. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works without signing in.
• The sign-up form includes a product news checkbox
• The privacy policy has a new email communications section
